BC Freshwater Fishing License
A BC Freshwater Fishing Licence is available in a range of options from single day to annual licences that last all year, from April 1 through March 31st. On September 6, 2007, the B.C. Government launched a new e-licensing service to make it easier than ever for anglers to purchase a BC Freshwater Fishing License.
This service is now available at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca. We are inviting anglers to give the system a try. Before you head out to your favourite fishing spot, make sure that you have your BC Freshwater Fishing Licence, as it is required in British Columbia.
The BC Freshwater Fishing Licence does not include fishing in British Columbia’s coastal tidal waters. Tidal (saltwater) fishing regulations and licences are under the jurisdiction of the Canadian federal government. In addition to the licence, anglers are required to be aware of the BC Freshwater Fishing License Regulations.
