At Sturgeonfishingbc.com we guarantee your fishing trip will be one of the best trips you will ever have, each and every time you come out with us on the Middle Fraser River out of Lillooet British Columbia, Canada.
Our Typical Fishing Day
– All our full day trips are 8-9 hours duration unless we are into a monster at the end of the day we don’t stop for anything. You have the option of paying extra if you want to stay out longer as well.
– Trips start at 8am unless pre arranged for an earlier start time, during peak summer season we also like to go out early to beat the heat.
– Lunch is included on all trips please let us know if you have any allergies or if you request gluten free products, we also provide non alcoholic beverages and water on board to keep you hydrated
– We provide all top quality high end, professional series fishing gear, bait and tackle on all trips. If you would like to bring your own gear, please talk to us first, as this is not your normal river fishing gear we use. We use 150-200 lb. test line set ups on our Ugly Stick and Beef Stick rods with Penn, Shamano and Quatum reels
– We can take up to 4 passengers in each boat and we can also do private trips for 1 person please inquire for this rate, ½ day trips are also available starting in the morning or afternoon, and 2 hour evening trips are also available. Please inquire for rates.
Multi Day Fishing Packages
We also offer 2 or 3, as well as 5 day Sturgeon Fishing Packages that can be combined with Salmon and Trout Fishing. All packages include deluxe riverside lodging, full meal plan, (byob) ,and evening sturgeon fishing off our private beach. Professional guide service, all gear, bait, tackle and jet boat service from our Fraser Canyon River Ranch location on highway #12 – 14km south of Lillooet British Columbia.
Our River Jet Boats
Our boats are custom-welded river boats built for safety and comfort for you in mind. These boats are designed to meet the punishing demand of the Fraser River rapids, shallows and narrow canyon sections. All the boats are outfitted with the latest safety and communication gear to meet and exceed Transport Canada recommendations for commercial operators. All our boats have shade cover on them for your comfort too.
Is Lodging Available at the Fraser Canyon River Ranch?
Yes! We offer deluxe riverside cabin and yurt accommodation at our Fraser Canyon River Ranch location for all our multi day packages. Guest can also book one of the cabins on their day trip pre or post trip. There are also a number of fine hotels and campgrounds in the Lillooet and Lytton area that offer accommodation for our guests should you desire all the comforts these establishments have to offer. Some also offer a breakfast plan too. Please feel free to ask us about other accommodations upon your arrival or in advance.
How’s the Weather?
The Lillooet & Lytton area are semi arid one of the few locations in Canada with this type climate. We enjoy sunny warm days from spring until fall with no mosquitoes unlike the lower rainy crowded Fraser River Valley. No rain jackets or heated jet boats required for our trips just a hat, river sandals, shorts, sun screen and sun glasses.
How can I Book a Fishing Trip?

Where can I get a BC Fishing License?
You will need both a BC Freshwater license and a Sturgeon tag. When in season, you will also need a Salmon tag. You can buy your fishing licenses online or from a BC gov. agent office (Service BC). We recommend you buy your licenses in advance.
How do I get There?
From Vancouver you can take highway #1 to Lytton and turn off onto highway #12 to our location or you can take highway #99 past Whistler Resort and over the Duffey Lake pass into Lillooet a very scenic drive either of these routes will take aprox 3.5 – 4 hours. From Kamloops take highway #1 to Cache Creek than to Lillooet on highway #99 will take aprox 2 hours. Float plane and helicopter flights also available from Vancouver, Whistler and Kamloops please inquire for rates.
How can I Purchase a Gift Certificate?
We offer special occasion gift certificates in any denomination for day trips or multi day trips. Please inquire for a custom certificate we can email you. Gift certificates are a thoughtful gift for any occasion, Father’s day, birthdays or anniversaries. Personalized, made to order certificates are provided for you to include in your gift for that special person.
How Can we Pay for our Fishing Trip?
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation with the balance due on arrival. We accept, interact etransfer, chq, cash, wire transfer, PayPal or western union from over seas. Please contact us to learn more.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We require 60 days written notice. No cancellations less than 60 days before trip date. Deposits are non refundable. Subject to availability, we can also change your trip date should you have to reschedule.
