Fraser Canyon River Ranch is excited to announce, after securing a number of Fraser River Claims this past year we, will be offering Gold Panning Tours and lessons along with Rock Hunting Adventures for Agates, Jade, Jasper, and other rocks and gemstones we find on select bars, beaches and islands along the Fraser River, and you keep what you find!
The Fraser River is a rock hunting and gold panning paradise. Every year after highwater season (freshet) more and more rocks have tumbled down the river exposing themselves on bars and beaches, ready for the picking.
Whether you're hunting for Soapstone, Jasper, Agate, and Jade or Gold Panning for nuggets, there are plenty of opportunities between Lytton and Lillooet along the beautiful Fraser River, BC.
Eco Glamping
We can host your rockhound club, group of friends or a family weekend outing at our Fraser Canyon River Ranch. Stay with us at our eco glamping resort in one of our riverside cabins or yurts and go exploring on your own, or hire our jet boat and get transported to a secluded, and hard to reach river bars and beaches for the day. This Gold Panning Rock Hunting Fraser River, 1-day adventure tour will help you identify rocks and gemstones on a rock-hounding adventure on our Big Island Fraser River claim. We often find agates, opals, jade, jasper, serpentine among many other types of rocks. You keep what you find and boat ride to the island included!
