In our 13th year now of operations offering angling tours from the Fraser Canyon River Ranch for Sturgeon Salmon and Trout Fishing tours. Our remote wilderness eco resort on the middle Fraser River between Lytton and Lillooet BC. is far away from the crowds and big cities of the lower Fraser River.
Located 3.5 hours north of Vancouver, 2 hours from Whistler Resort and 2 hours from Kamloops.
Fraser Canyon River Ranch

Lillooet has one of the most pleasant climates in Canada, a combination of the sunny skies of the BC interior with the moderating influences of the coast. Summer attire at our base camp is shorts, sandals, hat, sun glasses and plenty of sunscreen, and best of all there are No mosquitoes in our semi arid region of BC.
Our veteran guides each with over 20 years angling experience know where the best spots are, what structures to hold fish, what bait to use each day and what time during the season to fish different holes and bars based on river levels and water temperature.
Sturgeon Fishing
At the end of an epic day of fishing with us reeling in 10+ fish or more on an average day you get to relax at your own private riverside cabin in a hammock sipping a cold one or maybe head off for a swim to cool down at a near by lake. The BBQ is on and you will be served a gourmet dinner in the evening. If you still have the energy you can walk down to our private beach and do some night fishing beside a crackling campfire..
Riverside Base Camp
Fraser Canyon River Ranch offers deluxe Log Cabin and Yurt Lodging accommodation at our riverside base camp or you bring your own RV or relax at a hotel in the historic towns of Lillooet or Lytton and enjoy one of the many fine restaurants, cafes and watering holes. There are also many B&B’s and Campsites close to by with RV pads.
The Fraser River
Whether you’re angling for pre-historic Sturgeon on the Fraser or fly casting for a beautiful Trout on a pristine alpine lake. The wildlife viewing is spectacular along the river as we often spot Bald Eagles, Black Bear, Big Horn Sheep, Deer, and Mountain Goats. The scenery, the solitude and the wilderness is second to none, with snow cap peaks on one side of the river and the smell of ponderosa pine and sage on our side.
Sturgeon Conservation
As part of our conservation efforts in helping to protect White Sturgeon our guides will measure, scan and tag all sturgeon before releasing them back to the wild for future generations to have a chance to angle for them again.

We are one of the few guide companies that have our own base camp right on the Fraser River between Lillooet & Lytton. When fishing with us you will feel like you have the whole river to yourself unlike the lower Fraser River valley with all the pressure it receives from dozens of guide companies, private anglers, tug boats and commercial fishing boats.
